Menu: Settings → Emu64 Settings → GameBase64
To be able to use GameBase64 within Emu64 you have to adjust some settings. Emu64 can handle this for you or you can do this manually. You also need a live internet connection.
GameBase64 DaDatabase (GBC_v07.mdb)
To install the database automatically you have to press the button. Emu64 will download the database from the internet and install it to you harddrive. You don't need to set an install path.
Once GameBase64 is installed you can use the button to set the local path.
Screenshot Folder
You can download the screenhot packet from the internet via the button. The archive extracts automatically.
If you already have all the GameBase screenshots on your HDD you can set the path to this folder via the button.
Game Path Local
If you choose a game from the database and start it Emu64 checks if you already have locally stored the file or not. If the file is not found in the set path EMu64 downloads it an save it. If you start it again it will then be executed.
With the button Emu64 sets the path automatically. You can also set the path to a path you like with the
button.
Game Directory Online
This is the link to the files on the GameBase64 Server. Emu64 need this to download the files. You cannot change this link, it is there just for information purposes.
Close the setup window with the red cross in the upper right corner of the window and all changes are safed.
Note
The original GameBase64 frontend features even more functions. Emu64 doesn't support these. Emu64 supports the basic functions to use the database.
You can load other databases in the GameBase format (V1.2) into Emu64. The database has to be in the .mdb file format and stored locally. You can manually select the .mdb then. Other interesting databases are IntroBase64 and DemoBase64.
