Menu: Settings → Emu64 Settings → Lan64
Set different settings for Lan64 within this setup area.
LPT Port Address
Use this pulldown menu to set the parallel port interface where the Lan64 cable is plugged into the PC.
Note
If you are encountering problems with a Lan64 transfer this could also be cause by the BIOS settings of you PC. You need a bidirectional parallelport transmission.
Timeout
The value of the timeout determins when the connection should be closed. This can happen if the C64 is not prepared correctly with the Easy Loader. The highter the set value the longer Emu64 waits until it closes the connection. 400.000 is about 2 seconds. This depends on your CPU.
Loopcount
While a LAN64 connection is actove the CPU is in a kind of infinte loop. The value of the loopcount determins after how many loops the CPU breaks the loop. If the value is too high your CPU can be used 100% and you PC might shut down unpleasantly.
only emulate Lan64
If you set a check inside this checkbox Emu64 will emulate the data transfer. All LAN64 functions are then executed in the C64 window of Emu64.
Close the setup window with the red cross in the upper right corner of the window and all changes are safed.
