Menu: Settings → Fullscreen [Alt + Return]
The C64 screen is always started in windowed mode. If you want you can use the menu item to switch to the fullscreen display. There is no menu in fullscreen mode. Just use the key combination ALT + RETURN to switch back to the windowed mode.
Note
When the C64 screen is displayed in fullscreen mode there is no menu or status line. Just like on the TV with a real C64. You can change the resolution of the screen in fullscreen mode via Settings -> Emu64 Settings -> Graphic settings. You can also stretch the display via this menu, but the old 4:3 aspect ratio ist the best looks setting.
